Agreed. That's basically what I'm saying. KZ2 has all the crazy lighting and stuff, but the character models in MGS4 easily make up for what's missing on the technical side. If I'm choosing best technical achievement, I'd choose KZ2 for being able to pull off its effects and still push polygons at a great framerate. If I'm choosing overall best looking title, I have to give it to MGS4.
Killzone 2 doesn't even surpass MGS4 imo. From a technical level, sure, but not polygon for polygon.

If Sony would have spent $30 million on advertising and it was good enough to convince just 1 million additional PS3 owners (not including those who were already going to buy the game) to purchase the game at $60, then they would have come out with a $30 million dollar profit. Aw man, not this again. I hope all this extra exposure for a game that most of us didn't know existed a year ago, gives the devs enough money to create "Rapelay 2: The Man in the Alley". If you don't like it, don't play it. If you don't want games like these to sell well, don't keep writing these ridiculous articles hyping the title.

Whole different situation. NG2 was a solid title that 360 gamers were able to experience last year. NGS2 isn't coming out until this Fall, so the extra content makes sense. With Fallout 3, Bethesda consciously and blatantly made a deal whose sole purpose is to screw over a large portion of the game's userbase. These people spent their $60+ dollars on Fallout 3, only to be told that they don't deserve to continue their quest after the game has ended. I own the 360 and PC version, yet Bethesda ...
To those who own the PS3 version of Fallout 3, but also have a PC capable of playing the game, you have my permission to go ahead and pirate the PC version and the DLC. If Bethesda doesn't want to sell you the additional content, take it for free.
All those free, yet still quite beefy, expansions along with premium DLC too? Most of the DLC I see is Guitar Hero/Rock Band related or developers fixing a game that they know they shipped before they had completed it. Either that, or they force you to pay for something that's already on your disc.
The amount of post-release support that this title has received is ridiculous. I wish more devs supported their games in the same manner.
